LPD PILOT PLANT

In January, Lepidico Limited (LPD) approved a pilot plant for its L-Max® Technology.

The pilot plant is presently under construction at the Strategic Metallurgy Belmont laboratory, and fully integrated with lithium rich mica concentrate feed producing lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and various by-products.

This is a world-first project and Strategic Metallurgy and LPD are excited about the potential of the technology and its commercial application.
